build-a-bear

Sawyer's 3rd birthday is on Tuesday, and since we aren't having a party this year, we thought it might be fun to take the boys to Build-A-Bear-Workshop.

Sawyer carefully inspected his options

Fell in love with Teddy

And had NO concept of taking the un-stuffed version from the bins instead of the display bear. Notice the empty spot on the shelf, there? We tried explaining that we weren't at buy-a-bear, but he wouldn't let go of his new furry friend. In fact, he yanked the tags right off...

Once he watched Harrison stuff his bear at the machine and decided he wanted to try, we were able to make a quick switch

After dressing and re-dressing Teddy in some fashionable options, Sawyer decided clothes were too scratchy. Since picking the outfit sounded like the most fun part to me, I went ahead and chose a fire fighter ensemble anyway.

Final verdict? Take your kids when they're six!

Oh my gosh, these are the cutest pictures ever!!!! How stinking adorable are these kids anyway. Not only do I have the best looking son's (John & Michael) and the best looking daughter (Jan) but I also am lucky enough to have THE MOST GORGEOUS gandkids.

I can't wait to spend time w/Sawyer on his 3rd Birthday, can you believe he will be three... amazing.

I was almost in tears today when I opened my very special letter from Harrison. I'll be sure to keep it forever.
Love,
Mom

Yes, I can feel your BABW frustration. Macy is 6 and at the perfect age. I need to get stock in them because every penny she gets is spent there and at the store in Charlotte, we're in line for 45+ mins. It's crazy the money that is spent on those things, they are cute though. Just wait until the boys see how they can bring them to life on the website, much fun to have there too!!!
