mommy dearest

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day this past Sunday!

I'm lucky to be celebrated at all, when you consider the cruelty my children face...such as having to take two bites of everything on their plate. Can you even see the food on this plate? It's rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and (gag) green beans. I am a close second to Joan Crawford - no?

Thankfully, my boys love me anyway - check out the yummy breakfast in bed they served up (sans anything green on the plate!)

Jonathan came through with an equally delicious dinner of shrimp on the grill, corn on the cob and baked potatoes. Well, delicious for us, anyway...the boys had McDonalds ;)

The question is, did you eat your two bites of green beans? ;)

Your boys are so cute, and your breakfast looks decadent. You, my dear, are living a charmed life - and you deserve every minute of it.

Your boys did good! I must say that I could eat breakfast in bed every day as long as I'm not the one cooking. :)

Is any food making you sick?

Jan, was that SPRITE with your breakfast???? What ever happened to Orange Juice or Milk or better yet, glorious coffee? You are a VERY lucky Mom to have such extraordinary children and a fab husband to boot!

LOL at the Sprite. Nothing better than carbonation to start the day. For real.

Love your boys...they are so cute...so why on earth are you so mean to them? sheesh.

Your kids are so cute! I love the breakfast. I'm with Andrea. I always start my day with a DC. Kind of bad but oh so good. I hope making kids eat the healthy stuff is not the mark of a mean mom because that would make me the worst ever (they have to eat ALL of it at our house, tell them it could be worse!!)
