We almost ran away to Hawaii to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, but decided we'd rather wait and go with the boys when they are a bit older. Then we thought maybe we'd jet off to California. With the kids. But sneak away for a night alone in Catalina. And that was the plan, until we realized it would cost even more then just going to Disney World. Which honestly, sounds like the most fun and least nerve wracking (considering we've never left our boys overnight) That's kind of the place we are at after 10 years. It's less about us as a couple and more about being parents, being a family, being all-together. Luckily, we're in this for the long haul. So there's always our next anniversary, or the one after that, or the one ten more years from now to travel the globe. For now we're pursuing the Disney discount that runs until the of the month...hoping we'll soon head to the Happiest Place on Earth. In a lot of ways, we're already there ;)

Jan, I can't believe it has been 10 years.... wow, has time flown. You have an amazing husband and three positively wonderful sons. I couldn't have asked for a better daughter.... I am so proud of you and the life you have made for yourself. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

Happy Anniversary sweetie! I'm with you-- I like the family vacations. After all, that's what your marriage created-- a family. Our 20th in on Monday and we took the family to Hawaii over Christmas to celebrate. :)
