Ha! jan, you are so funny. I have been out of the blogging world a bit and I read through your christmas posts! Loved the matching pajamas, the darling knitted hats for your boys, and the stocking stuffers for us! Oh, and for your poll, which I voted btw, I have mags in my main bathroom....and yes, for my husband's sake. They wind up in there and pile up...so I just surrendered and got a basket!!! Hate it, but....what do you do?
Jan, you never fail to crack me up! I am having trouble voting. Is there an other category? I have never thought it was disgusting, though I am reminded of the seinfeld episode when George tried to return the book that he took to the bathroom. ROFL. Do you even sit long enough to watch tv? LOL Anywho, I don't think it's gross, I just don't really see the point. I say get in, do your unmentionable business, and get out! :P We don't have a magazine basket in our house, but my mom always had a basket in our guest bathroom at home.
I'm just guessing that you're vote is, "gross", but I must say that I voted, "hospitable"; I love flipping through folks' magazines when I'm in the bathroom!
Except, of course, the one time I learned that our friends tossed old copies of Playboy in their basket... Yeah, that was a little awkward.
SO, if it's "Good Housekeeping" and "Runner's World" I'm all about a "go for it".
um I don't understand reading material in the bathroom at all...but I am so curious to see why you're asking. Next installment please...
Why spend more time in the bathroom than what is absolutley necessary. There are too many things to do in life. If you want to thumb through a magazine, can't one find a more delightful, soothing place? Yes, I agree with the earlier post, George, you must buy that magazine now that you took it in the bathroom to read with you!!
I'm so very curious.... did you or didn't you? Or were just asking...
