We started the birthday festivities early this year, and took Harrison and his best buddies from church, to Giggleberry Fair on Saturday.

Shooting your friends with foam balls really is just as much fun as having a party (it's also a lot less stress when you have a
preggo mom, back to school and soccer every Saturday)

On Sunday,
Grandmom and
Grandpop came with birthday cake. Yum!

And Space Police
Legos. Fun!

Finally on his
real birthday, Harrison was ecstatic to receive a metal detector (which he has talked about wanting for months now)

and an electric scooter, which he can't actually use until the battery charges for 18 hours. Oops.

Harrison took (store bought, there is no shame in that! And the plastic carriers are golden for transporting) cupcakes to school with Star Wars ring toppers.

I took this opportunity to snag a picture of him with his teacher - Ms. Malone.
Unfortunately, I couldn't get more shots around the classroom because Sawyer bolted on me.
Since you can never have enough indoor play zone action and bad pizza, we took the boys to Chuck-E-Cheese for dinner.

And then Nanny &
Cappy joined us for birthday cake back at the house

and of course they brought presents! Thanks for the
Legos Uncle John & Aunt Sandra!

Harrison - I love you like crazy! I think SEVEN is going to be an amazing year - first grade, more lost teeth, piano lessons, and a new baby brother. It's going to be an adventure! I LOVE YOU!!!

Happy Birthday! Looks like a fun, FUN day! We can only do store bought at our school for treats.
His teacher is cute!
and how much do I love the name Giggleberry! LOL!
His gifts are SO fun!
What a fun-filled 7th birthday! Jan, you really know how to party. :) I think it's so cute that Harrison wanted a metal detector for his birthday. Has he found any treasures yet? And that electric scooter is awesome! I am keeping that in mind for Christmas...
Happy Birthday Harrison! Looks like he had a fun filled birthday week. His presents are awesome - I think the metal detector is brilliant. And his teacher is cute! We too can only bring store bought treats to school - no shame at all. And where are his shorts from? Are they Boden and I missed them? I LOVE! Glad he had a wonderful bday!
Happy Birthday Harrison! Looks like a great bday!!!
Happy Birthday Harrison!
sounds like he had a great time!! legos and cake, what's not to love?
What a perfect way to celebrate your darling 7 (gasp!) year old.
The metal detector thing cracks me up just a bit! Could come in handy though.... :)
Happy Birthday! We always take the publix cupcakes. They will make them to order and pack them up for you! So very nice and as Mary Austin once said - these are much better than ones we make since they have "fancy tops" I think she meant swirly icing and a ring to boot!
And you get triple points for going to the 7th circle of Hades - Chuckie Cheese!
Can't wait to see baby!
