overestimate

Last weekend, we finally found a bike for Harrison at Toys R Us. Eager to break it in, we took the boys to Peace Valley Park on Friday. Originally, Graham and I were going to stay home - but Jonathan gave me the "it's such a beautiful day" schpeal and there I was following along on foot with the stroller. It's SIX MILES around the lake
Strangely, Jonathan thought we were capable of making it all the way around.

I quickly fell behind the bikers, but caught up at their pit-stop at the halfway mark.

Harrison was going strong, and excitedly telling me about how he had switched gears on his way up and down the hills.
Sawyer on the other hand, was pretty tuckered out. He was hot. Thirsty. Hungry. And reluctant to keep going.

Me too.
Jonathan was a good egg and pedaled solo to get the car and come back for us. Maybe next time we'll stick with a lap around the block.

wow, how old is Sawyer again? I'd say he did pretty well! And your weather looks gorgy-- I have had it with snow.

Six miles does seem far-ish... The pics are beautiful, and your cute boys and family fun make me smile. always.
