october overload

Pennsylvania has been experiencing GORGEOUS Fall temps these past few days. And while the weather would have been pumpkin patch perfect all of last week, and likely tomorrow too...today was a bit of a heat wave. Sigh. So much for matching mock necks.

The boys decided to try the "real" corn maze this year. Every few minutes I would call out so they could listen for the sound of my voice. Eventually, Jonathan declared they were almost out! Hmm...you sound far away, I yelled back. To which they promptly exited the maze from the entrance. Ha!
Time for the hayride! Which wasn't nearly bumpy enough to send me into labor. Sadly.

Picking Pumpkins

60lbs worth!
Along with hay bales, corn stalks and plenty of baby gourds

Mr. Jiggly Bones is a new addition this year. Harrison was complaining that we didn't have any "scary" Halloween decorations. This guy is just the right combination of creepy and cute to make us both happy.

We have some new decorations inside, too. I think I'm going to need to find higher spot to keep the candy dish - the M&M's are disappearing at record rate.
Banner & pillow from Etsy. Oh, Etsy. Dangerous.

And a couple of new Lori Mitchell figures. Love.
This teacher treat is nothing new, but I revamped the packaging this year.
And to think that this month is only going to get better with our Autumn Arrival...

could it be any more perfect? A lion and a pirate? I adore Lori Mitchell figurines. I just put mine up and am in love all over again. I've never seen that hot air balloon one!

I just MADE one of those banners! Yours is way cute! (better than mine!) And love the pillow! So fun! Your decorations (in and out) are beautiful.

Hope you're surviving these last few days!!! GOOD LUCK!

Oh my gosh...I love those Lori Mitchell figurines too! I have 2 different ballerinas in Piper's room and they are my favorite. Now I need Halloween ones! Why do I always spend $$ after visiting your blog?

Everything looks so pretty and festive and fall-ish. The only thing that's missing is Graham! I can't believe the hayride didn't do the trick. I thought you had him on Friday for sure. I can't wait!!!

I can't wait to hear about Graham's arrival!

Jan, you do Fall so RIGHT! I love your decor. That candy dish is adorable - tell me where that one is from. Enjoy the lovely PA Fall weather. Fall is my favorite time of the year too and I remember my childhood Pennsylvania Autumn's very fondly!

Pure perfection. I love every single thing about it! I was swooning over the little Dorothy from Lori Mitchell, I will probably end up bringing her home with me. Oh, and the little girl in the "boo" dress. LOVE!

I'm glad baby Graham will be coming home to such lovely autumn goodness.

imanut - I am SO happy to see you here! You and KT are always welcome ;)

Kerry - the candy dish is by Bethany Lowe, and I bought it online at the holiday barn - but it seems to be sold out. It's also sold out at Traditions Year Round Holiday Store (they charge crazy amounts for shipping, btw!) but you can pre-order it for next year...kind of crazy!!!

Hilary - Jonathan didn't get the connection from the Lori Mitchell's to the photograph - I'm SO glad someone noticed, I was tickled about it!

Wowzers. I am speechless. Your house/yard look spectacular. I am totally inspired. I am in awe of all your mums all over your yard. It looks beautiful. And I ADORE your inside stuff - the owl pillow is TDF - love it. And your boys are pretty darn cute too. I hate when the weather does not cooperate with outfit choices! Can't wait to see Mr. Graham!!!!

I love this post! It makes me want to throw a fall-inspired party or build a new house or at least go shopping. :) Everything is pure perfection! I love the pictures of the boys at the corn maze. They are so cute! Now if we could just have a picture of Mr. G... Good Luck!
