The end of the school year madness is in full swing here. In the next two weeks we have Picnics, Art Shows, Field Trips, Grandparents Day, Book Fair, Writers Celebration (yes, again) Talent Shows and your regularly scheduled Baseball to look forward to.
I realized with all of these upcoming photo-ops, that I haven't posted a whole lot of what we've been up to lately. So here is a brief re-cap, before I get any further behind.

1. The World's Cutest Baby goes for a bike ride.
2. The Russell Brothers make their own pizzas. For the first time ever. What kind of mom am I??? Especially when you consider that they made these with Dad....
3. Once again I had to send out chain letters to my closest 20 family members asking them to support the Race for Education at Harrison's school. It was worth it though, he got extra recess, a free snack in the cafeteria, plus a frisbee for his participation.
4. Since it had been 5 years since our last jaunt to the zoo (for other mom slacking, see also #2) we took the boys on a beautiful Spring Day....when at least a thousand other people had the same great idea. The parking lot was full. The car in front of us got the last spot in the overflow parking lot. Luckily (???) there was a second overflow parking lot in East Jabip. While it was a fun day, I'm guessing it might be another 5 years until I'm up for going back. Unless they get a valet service.
5. We took our Preteen Sunday School Class Geocaching and I decided to bring Harrison along. I thought I would endure the adventure rather then enjoy it - but it was surprisingly lots of fun! I'm hooked, and unlike the zoo, I could see us doing this again sometime soon.
Well, just as soon as we get through the rest of this crazy busy month ;)

You never fail to crack me up! :) Would it make you feel better knowing that I think I've taken the kids to the zoo 4 times in the last 10 years? I'm not a huge fan of zoos.
1. He really is the cutest baby. His smile makes me smile. Every time.
2. Homemade pizza is over-rated (though we do love Boboli crust), that's what delivery is for.
3. Your 20 closest family members should be more than willing to donate for extra recess, free snack, and a frisbee! What else is family for?
4. Every 5 years at the zoo sounds perfect. Valet Parking sounds even better.
5. Geo-caching IS fun. We used to go quite a bit, but it's been a few years.
Can't wait for Grandparents Day... I am so looking forward to it. Watching the baseball games has been so much fun, boy are my grandsons talented or what? And Graham, what can I say about Graham...he is incredibly cute!!!!! As for Zoo's, I remember taking you and John to the San Diego Zoo and riding the elephant and getting our car broken into at the Phila. Zoo....love those animals!

World's cutest baby is right. I just want to reach in and squeeze him! Makes me want a baby seat for my bike. So, so cute.
