Sawyer was thrilled he was old enough to play baseball this year. He wanted to wear his uniform every day, including to bed.

Sawyer led me up to his bedroom after his awards ceremony, pointed to the shelf displaying cowboy ric-rack and asked if I could "move that stuff" He was so proud to clear a spot for his trophy!

Actually, it didn't sit on the shelf long, the next day he wanted to take the trophy to preschool, and then to his cousins house and even to Target...

It might be Little Sluggers, but it's also a
big deal. Love you, buddy!

Every time I think one of your boys is my favorite, I see pics of your other boys and have to change my mind. I love Sawyer! I love how excited he is about baseball. How do they grow up so dang fast?
Sawyer was quite the Little Slugger, I was impressed with his athletic abilities. It was adorable how much he loved his uniform and how proudly he wore it... he is a character for sure. I love that little fellow. Cappy and I were so happty that we were able to attend his final game and award ceremony. I never saw a kid so proud of his trophy.
Love, Mom
