Friday was Harrison's last day of 1st grade!
No sooner did he get off the bus and he was on his way to the church camp-out with his brother...(Tom) Sawyer

Yes, someone did fall in (someone always falls in!) But thankfully, my guys made it across without incident.
That night Harrison stayed up late roasting marshmallows at the camp fire.
But was still up early the next morning to fish. He caught a record seven fish this year!
Sawyer caught four. I guess you catch your age...
He also opted to have his face painted. Like what? I am not sure.
If you're wondering, Graham and I did not rough-it. We were holding down the fort at home ;)
Our first year at camp, the boys were awarded for catching the most seaweed...this year, much improved with the 2 Blue Gill award (Harrison) and Best Fish Imitation (Sawyer).

What cool pictures... looks like the boys had a GREAT camping trip, one they will always remember. I can't wait for them to tell me all about it tomorrow.

I am not a big fan of campouts but this actually looks really fun! Your boys look so clean! Did Jonathan take these pictures? I am so impressed. Brian and my boys went a month or so ago. I sent my camera only to find they purposely left it on the table. Punks.
What a perfect outing for you boys... all the better because you didn't have to go. :)
They are so cute, and look like they are in little boy heaven. I think Sawyer is going to give you a run for your money. He looks like a boy with a plan. lol!
