This decorating crisis should be a lesson to us all, you can't be too careful when it comes to fake florals. Just say NO! Never let anyone talk you into using them. You see for yourself how easily use turns into abuse!
Holly - I have to give credit to Jonathan for doing that! I was trying to throw them away - lol! Now that my pumpkins are all cleaned up, I moved them to the mantle - I'll spare you all another picture...for now ;)
I love them! I have been coveting pumpkin topiaries for the last couple of years and thinking I wasn't crafty enough to make them. They are gorgeous with the white pumpkins! I may have to hit the craft store tomorrow.
better. much, much better. and the leaves around the rooster was a brilliant touch. can we see them on the mantle now? i promise it's not an over-share. really.
Drastic improvement losing the leaves. I LOVE them now. I too am in love with all the white pumpkins that are so popular this year. I think they look great on your table but I do want to see them on your mantle too!
oh jan...you can tell a story like no other. This one cracked me up. I can't believe you pretended to love the other ones, LOL...they are so not you. I love these though. Good call. I want some just like them...but, like you, not enough to make them myself. And apparently I don't want the floral lady at AC Moore to make them either. I want to see the rest of your house too!
I have been busy this week and just now got back to your pumpkins! LOVE LOVE LOVE them!
I am child and husband free for the weekend and now I am off to find me some white pumpkins, moss and urns! My mom also gave me another great idea she saw in Cottage Living which is about the only mag I do not get. Wrap cute halloween inspired gros-grain ribbon around pumpkin and secure with a straight pin. You can stack, group or whatever!
I never did say THANKS for posting the paint colors! I am finally going this week to SW to get samples. Your pumpkin decorations turned out great. I showed the pictures to my crafty friend and we are going to make some this week! Your house is just adorble you have fabulous ideas.
