fun & games
Today the Mong's hosted their annual backyard carnival - so much fun! I'm inspired to do something similar for our neighborhood next Summer, minus the tilt-o-wheel - because you know my feelings about getting dizzy.

Jan, Harrison told me he really had a good time at the carnival. Cappy and I had such a good time with the kids while you and Jonathan enjoyed the battle of the sexes.... We walked to the creek, throwing stones and twigs as far as we could then watched the current drag them away. We then walked (or should I say piggy back rode) to Giant to buy goodies for snack. A delightful pancake, bacon and sausage dinner was enjoyed follwed by a riveting Alvin & The Chipmunks movie (with snacks of course... Ho-Ho's, powdered donuts, and chips...YUM!). I thought it was so cool when Harrison pulled together a few items from the basement to make Mommy and Daddy a craft... he is so very thoughtful. Of course Sawyer followed his big bro's lead and made a craft as well. They were both a trip and a half. We really enjoyed ourselves. Too bad that they didn't sleep in for you today, bummer.
Love, Mom
