Jonathan says we aren't turning the heat on yet, because I spent all of our money at the mall. Ha, ha. Hardy ha.
Anywho, this is backfiring on him in a major way, because with temperatures dipping, my thoughts have turned to Christmas (what, you don't see the connection?) My boys have already made their requests known
For Sawyer

For Harrison

And you know with a
Wii on the list, I HAVE to shop early. Should I hold out for one of those "bundle" deals, or just grab a console at Blockbuster when I have the chance? Also, what games would you suggest I start with?

The wii is also on Lily's Christmas list. I'm clueless on Wii tips. obviously.
But, I did make the connection between cooler temps and Christmas shopping. It makes perfect sense to me.
I have no advice on the wii. But I'm happy that someone else is already thinking Christmas. And it's not even remotely cool here yet. And what is that thing for Sawyer?
Cole is obsessed with the Lego Star Wars game. He would play it all day long if we let him.
Jan, awesome, you think of Christmas cause you know how much I hate hate hate shopping!!!! Let me know what my choices are for the boys, then you know the drill, I hand over the cash, you shop.
Mom
LOL! The Wii is on Zoe's list too! Little does she know I bought it over 2 months ago! There were only 4 on the shelf at Target at the time...so I grabbed it when I saw it!! I'm wondering about games as well?!?!
I would toto grab the Wii while you can. My kids love the game that comes with it (Wii Sports), Mario Kart and you should sneak in Wii Fit for yourself. Happy Shopping!
GRAB THE Wii, GRAB THE Wii!! If you see one GO FOR IT. That is what jim got the kids for a "Moving" gift , or bribe, whatever you'd like to call it. He ended up having to get one at Gamestop, used. That was in the middle of July. They are still hard to find here. You can usually get one with the Wii sports. We all enjoy that game. Chapman also loves Mario Kart. Hope this helps. I would also say to get an extra Wii-mote we have two and they get passed around a lot when all four of us play. Having only 2 prohibits all four of us playing anything all at the same time.
The Wii is unbelieveabely popular at my house. The boys will do anything to play it...which is fantastic. My boys love Mario Kart (I just ordered the Super Mario cart with the wheel for Christmas), Mario and Sonic at Olympics, but most of all they love the Legos games...Star Wars and Indiana Jones. Hayden is getting Lego Batman for his birthday. The only thing I didn't know when I was buying them is that they're rated E10 and up...I don't love that. They have to wait to play the Lego games when dad is home and can play with them. My kids don't love the interactive games for some reason...?
Let me know if you find a Wii somewhere! Rob and I totally want one, and I want a Wii fit to go with it!
Try Target, I've seen them there twice int he last few weeks. They usually stock them on Sunday mornings. Patrick loves Mario Kart and Outdoor Sports. Make sure you get an extra remote so Sawyer can play along :)
