picture day

Mrs. Barnett said to wear something "snazzy" for picture day, and given the amount of hoodie sweatshirts and athletic gear I saw on the other boys, I think Harrison gets an A+ for this assignment!

His homework for the weekend is to look for signs of Fall and bring what he finds back to school with him on Monday. Here are some signs of the season around our house.

Another new goodie? This framed canvas from Home Goods for $39.99. I've been a fan ever since I saw it in the Ballard catalog where it sells for $249. I guess I AM lucky, sometimes.

Awww, he's a cutie pie! I once fibbed to my parents about which day was picture day so that I could wear my Annie dress (which had been a Halloween costume and I wore it on normal days) in my school pictures. BAD LARA.

Your gorgeous fall decorations are making me feel like such a slacker! I need to get busy. I'm curious - did you make those black & white pumpkins? Did you use paint? OR a sharpie pen? They look so cool!

WHoops - correction - I mean orange & black pumpkins!

Lara - I am the least craftiest girl, EVER. Those are actually just wooden balls - I bought some for my friend Kristi who won the bloggy giveaway, and had to get some for myself too!

And that is the funniest picture day story - I love it!

Jan, I am lol! I put the black/orange balls you sent me in a holder exactly like the one yours are in! Even more crazy - I saw that little pumpkin/gourd guy at a boutique today and almost bought him home. Your house looks amazing! And, A+++++++++ for cute Harrison.
